Welcome Fall 2018 Cohort! Positions Needed on Student Council.

Welcome to the Masters in Library and Information Science program at Western University! Please use this website as a source of information and contact to the MLIS student council.

Expect email updates from us on occasion, but we'll update this site and our Facebook more frequently with events, graduate student news, and input call out. Sometime next week we'll host a free pizza lunch where you can meet with executives from the all the MLIS student groups. The Pride Library volunteer coordinator will be there if you'd like some library experience - if you're eager, reach out to them now at <volunteer@pridelibrary.ca>. If you're interested in joining SOGS groups for all graduate students at Western, contact Shelby Powell for more information <swilsonp@uwo.ca>.

If you'd like to join student council, the following positions are up for grabs - we need someone from the Fall 2018 cohort to fill in first-term rep, but you're also welcome to apply for any of the following:

- Fundraiser Coordinator

- Housing & Student Needs Liaison

- Records Manager

- SOGS representative (1)
