MLIS SC Constitution review

MLIS SC has started the process of amending our constitution. The changes will be reviewed and approved at a general meeting early this upcoming summer term.

The main proposed changes are as follows:

  • introduce of the Records Manager position

  • clarification of executive roles

  • description of shared duties added

  • description of the mentorship program added

The proposed constitution is available with the proposed changes recorded using Word's track changes feature. Further revisions may be proposed prior to approval at the general meeting; these versions are provided in the interim as a courtesy.

If you're interested in participating in the general meeting to approve proposed revisions, please keep an eye out for the email notification that will be distributed early in the summer term or contact us for more information.
